My wife got approved on May 25, 2004, got passport stamping on June 1, 2004. After 7 weeks, she has not received the plastic card. Her case status still says:
" On April 27, 2004, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 850 and 900 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case."
The case status never got changed to Approved.
-- What triggers the ordering of the plastic card. Is it based on the case status being 'Approved' ?
-- Is anyone else in a similar situation ?
-- Could you please share any information regarding this ?
