Case statis...not good???

Hi Guys,

Well im going crazy right now, Im worrying so much that its too much to handle. Ok, I was about to go to bed but I figured to maybe go check up on my case statis, I couldn't find my I-485 Recent so I grabbed my ASC appointment notice to looking for a Application number, so there was and I entered it. Now just to clear something up, On July 6th I went in for my Biometrics and I got in and out by 15 minutes so it was all good.

Anyways this is what it says on my Case statis...

Current Status:

"On June 28, 2006, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 30 days have passed and you have not received the notice. Please contact the service center where you submitted your application during business hours."

I haven't received any notice letters in the mail...should I be concerned or wait til I get one?

I'd appreate it if someone can help me and explain this.

Takes a while...wait a little bit more, if you don't get it call the 800 number.
 
Yes, When they asked me for an RFE online I waited for almost two weeks before I got the actual letter in the mail. Just wait a little bit longer....it might come this week.
 
Oh alright, Well thanks so much guys, ill give it a couple days and if I dont get the Letter then ill call the 1800 number.

I have one more queston, The ASC Appointment notice letter (Biometrics appointment notice), has a "Application Number" and a "USCIS A#" is that refered to the I-485?
 
Ok, I still haven't received a Letter in the Mail....Im worried lol. I called the 1800 number on Monday and they said the best bet to wait and if you don't receive that letter, make sure to call on July 28th and we will have to investage it...

Is this something bad? cause I hope my case is not delayed... :(
 
Hate to burst your bubble, but your approval process is on hold from June 28 till the day they notify you that they indeed have in their hands what they were looking for.

For instance, if you get your RFE RD (the day they receive it) On July 28th, you just added 30 days to your timeline.

Ouch...well I guess all I can do now is wait it out I guess.

Wait a little and call the 1800 ..and in case they can't help>>> schedule an info pass appointment.
The uscis A# or the Alien Registration Number is the same number that u'll get on the GC.
By the way check the RFE thread by Patty 579...Things are going pretty well Now even with RFE.
