case resumed and FP clean

just called IIO by 800 number. give the IIO all information for my case.

to answer my inquiry, she said that although the FP was received and the case was resumed on May 14, but it may take longer time to get clean from FBI. The case will not be processed until FP clean.

my question is whether the case resumed does not indicate FP clean or this IIO is a very "smart" to answer our calls.

any opinion?

I take it this was your FP #2.

Case resumed I believe is a bunch of old tests that FBI does before sending fp results to INS. After which they added a whole truckload of new tests .. that might be what IIO was referring to.

Whats worse, FBI is not required to answer every single enquiry, so in essense, some of us could be waiting forever, if FBI decides not to reply .. for the next 10 years .. and you, I, or INS cannot bug FBI to answer that faster.
