Case rejected

Hello

I have filed my canada immigration papers as a skilled worker in last Sep. I got a letter yesterday saying that my application is rejected because of insufficient funds. I sent my bank statement with about $5800 US dollars. I thought that shuold meet their requrements.

Is anyone aware of this kinds of case. Can someone please guide what I can do at this stage.

This is strange. I applied in April 2001 with only $1200 in my account. They never sent me anything, no interview etc. I got my case approved and passport stamped with Canadian immigration visa few months back. Following are some of my details:

Education: Masters in EE from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Experience: 3 years on H-1b
