Any one who had started a case referral or case request please post your experience to this thread.

I am specifically looking for experience from people who had started a referral because their case is being pending for more than 30 days compared to the published processing times.

Appreciate your response.

Sorry, but it is no use or you have to wait for a long time...

I (my employer) made case referral about 2 months ago, but no response. My lawyer made second one about 2 weeks ago. My lawyer said after he make 3rd referral and no response for 30 days, then he can talk to VSC.

I wrote a letter to Senator, but it will take 6-8 wks also.
If you go to senators web site, they have form for investigation on immigration issues. Try both.

I was in the similar situation last year. Some one suggested me to talk to AILA liaison. They told me that they will provide me the E-mail id of AILA liaison but they never gave me that. If your attorney is co-operative either he can make an enquiry through AILA liaison or if you can get his E-mail/Telephone even you can initiate the enquiry if the case is pending for long time. Attorney should be the member of AILA. Most attorneys are members of AILA.
