Hello, could someone give me some advice, as the status of my H1b application received on April 2 is still pending?
I want to get clarity on the timeframe of my legal status. My OPT will expire on 12/15. If after that my case is still pending, will my status in the US still be legal until if the application is denied? Will I still be eligible to work for my current employer while waiting for approval/denial decision? In terms of drop-dead dates if my status is still pending, when is the last date that I should stop working? When is the last date I should leave the US?
