hi all,
i had done my FP on the 21th of June (abount 2 weeks ago), and my case is still "received and pending" according to uscis.org.

is that normal? i am starting to get really worried.

thank you for you help in advance.

Normal. Many times the status doesn't change all the time to oath. Don't worry about the lack of change in the online status. If you're lucky the status will change to case not found when they send you the interview letter. Other than that the status online is useless.

Don't expect the online status to accurately reflect what stage your application is at. It will either say the case is pending or say the case is not found. As weird as it may seem the latter is actually a good sign (if your case said 'pending' before). More often than not it means that your file has been transferred from the service center to the local DO and that your interview letter is on it's way. Of course there are exceptions like Huracan mentioned. Sometimes the case status never shows up online (which is not true for you) or it never disappears and keeps saying 'pending' even after you are done with the whole process.

2 weeks from FP is too early to expect the IL and so I would say wait at least 2-3 months (or longer depending on your DO - check the timeline thread for your DO).

Yup, just get used to waiting. It makes getting the naturalization certificate feel that much better.

Assuming that the one line status site is wrong can help with your sanity. Wait 4 to 6 months before you start worrying. Relax and enjoy the wait.
