Case Number

Hi,

I just wonder, if each LC application must have case number. I was told that my LCA has been forwarded to Regional DOL. But when I asked about case number, I came to know that DOL doesn't issue any case number in LC process. If so, then how can I check my LC status.

First thing LCA and LC is different

LCA (labor condition approval) for H1b
and Labor Certificate is for green card.


SESA (state ) labor has file number, you can get it from your lawyer (you need to push for it, they won't give unless you asked for)

DOL (regional) Lobor has case number you can get using regional AVM system. (you need to specify where your labor certification filed) and get information from resepective thread.
