Case no. /online apply

What is the esay way to apply for case no. to DOS. If I apply online then will I get the the case number earlier. After getting the case number (online) can I use it to apply to the Indian Embassy for Waiver certificate.


If I will apply online than also will I have to send the original document to DOS by mail.

you get your case number immediately when you apply online. you also get directions on what next to do.

I had one more query. While applying for case number do we need the letter "statement of reason" at any point.
