Case Miscategorized as TR at BEC

Hi All,
I thought I was the only one who was unfortunate enought to get his case miscategorized at the Dallas BEC.

My May 2002 RIR Case was miscategorized by someone as TR in place of RIR. As a result of that error, my Labor which should have been cleared months ago is still waiting in the Dallas BEC and NOW WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR YEARS TO FILE FOR I485 even if I get my labor certified eventually.

It is a NIGHTMARE situation and I hoped that no one else had the same issue, but I have found out that many people have the issue and I am starting this thread to bring them all together to do something about it.

In my case my employer filed special handling category and Dallas BEC says you are in RIR!

You could very well b in a kickback situation.
At any time DOL is unhappy with the recruitment efforts or summary of recruitment efforts they can change yoiur case from RIR to supervised recruitment. Basically they fell the advertising process during RIR wasnt good enough. Its happened to amy of us where the appl was filed under RIR but now its changed into regular or supervised recruitment.
