I filled in early May, went to interview in Aug. They asked for some more documents including tax info, mailed all requested document to the local office in Sept. now status is:

Y 10/07/2006 I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Interview conducted; case under review.
This case is at our MISSOURI SERVICE CENTER location.

I have not heard or received anything from them from Aug. Is this normal? should I just wait?

Just to note, your case isn't in Missouri, its at your local office. The USCIS page is wrong. Have you tried making an infopass appointment to ask about the status of your case at the office you were interviewed at?

hi, I am reading and reading today about everyone's timeline.
Why some people will take almost 3 years to process all the documents? and some can get everything done in around 6 months?

I notice usually family base Green card will take around 1 year right?
how someone can take super long time?

also, I got the same message, said my case is in Missouri. But I am still waiting for interview letter, (my ND is August 28th) even my EAD which they told me they send about 15 days ago, still not here.
I read around, is it really Missouri DO just the super slow one? that is why I am not getting anything?

thank you for any feedback

Missouri Service Center is where all AOS applications are preprocessed before being sent to your local office for final adjudication. EADs and APs are processed at the MSC to completion.

For family based Green Cards the MSC is not the "super slow one", its the only one. For processing times look at the times for your local district office.

As for why some Green Cards take longer than others, there are two main variables: How fast your local office is and whether you have issues pass the FBI name check.

As for your EAD. Have you made sure that your name is on your mailbox where the EAD is being posted? If not it might get returned to USCIS. If you don't get it soon you should make an Infopass or call the hotline.

thank you :o
really? maybe I should call again soon.
It is strange, I had received several letter from them before to this address. On our mailbox there is no name at all. :(

You should definitely have your name on the mailbox. I'm not saying the EAD was not delivered in your case, but it can happen and not having the name on the mailbox is usually the #1 reason.
