Case has been assigned to officer TO approval

I called IIO on 09/28/01 and was told case has been assigned to officer. From approved cases, can anyboday tell me normaly how long it takes from assigned to officer TO final approval?

I also talked to IIO and got the same message

Just about 10 minutes ago I spoke to IIO and got the reply
that the case is with the officer but pending. I asked her what does it mean as compared to the just pending. Her reply was that the case has been assigned to the officer but officer has yet to start processing of the case.
