This saga continues.. hopefully not for too many more years! Just talked to an IIO and I was told that my case was finally assigned to an officer on June 11!! (Although I had been told by some other IIO back in february that my case was assigned- which turned out to be a bs!)
My details can be found on PCee list and Rupnet.com list:

PD: 9/1998, WAC-01-256-XXXXX
RD: 6/8/01
ND: 8/13/01
FP: 12/13/01
AVM: 01/09/02 ("...processing is resumed..")

Current Status: Case assigned to an officer on June 11.

I am sooo sick of keep dialing the same damn phone number for years now to see if they\'d finally stop depriving me of oxygen.
 
Relax !

I know how frustrating it is, but there is nothing we can do !
these days we are hearing some action within a month after Case has been Assigned.

So hope for a early approval !

i also had been told that my case was assigned on feb 9.

which was not true. the next time i have been told it is assigned on 4/18. nearly 2 months since. so i am expecting that is also not true. lets see.

May be inexperienced officers looking for some easy ones are returning your case back to the shelf after assignment! Just kidding... :) I hope you too get your approval soon.
