Case does not exist ?!!!!

I just received my I485 receipt notices, and when trying the online system for one of them I got the following message:

Customer Portfolio Insert Failed
Attempting to add a case that does not exist. Check the app receipt number.

So, what do I do now?

I would advise you to talk with tyour lawyer. They would contact USCIS people and will get it done. It seems the receipt number has not been entered and entry has not been made correctly in the system - the system which is accessed by all USCIS customer for tracking purpose. I had similar issue and was got resolved by one call to USCIS people. They would need 10-12 days to enter it in the system.

The lawyer said she will call them. She insists that the paper receipt notice is good enough, because : "the online system is not always accurate". Should I be concerned?

she will: "notify you if we receive any further information on this
matter."

I can't change the lawyer, though this is the MOST AWFUL company you can imagine!! Every step was made longer and more painful than it actually is.
