Hi, I got into a verbal altercation with a collections dept and they pressed terroristic threat charges against me and I was arrested , but the DA and prosecutor dismissed the case under pre trial diversion program with some community service and I plead not guilty. I didn't go in front of the judge. The arrest record got expunged. I'm a permanent resident, got LPR card in April 2012 and this unfortunate incident happened in May 2013. Will my reentry to US or citizenship be jeopardized because of this arrest. Once again, I wasn't convicted and case was dismissed under pre trial diversion.

No impact on your reentry into USA.

For your naturalization, simply disclose this case, attach the court documents, and you will be good. Nothing to worry.

Your case wasn't dismissed free and clear; you were required to perform community service, so it could be treated as a conviction for immigration purposes. USCIS can see expunged cases, so the expungment doesn't help you as far as naturalization is concerned.

I doubt this would affect your reentry to the US, but you should consult an immigration lawyer before applying for naturalization so they can review the case in detail and determine the impact on your naturalization prospects and whether it could result in deportation (unlikely, but without being lawyers and without knowing the exact details of the case we can't say that you're 100% safe from deportation).
