My i-485 application was approved after more three years since i submitted my

case. it took 1151 days to complete my case, including name check time. oh my

god! the uscis received my case in October 2003 and approved my case in

December 2006. if they didn't delay my case for a frightful time, i would not be

such disappointed. worst services in this world!!!

My case is a normal family based application. The uscis processed my case very slow.
they just repeated ask me to re-take fingerprints(3 0r 4 times),because my
fingerprints were expired many times by their slowness.i did call uscis to check my case,
they just told me to wait.i called and wrote an email to my senator
she didn't reply anything!the only way i could do which was waiting.

now i must wait 5 years before appling citizenship,is there any way to take back the time
which is uscis' fault, so i don't have to wait for 5 years, it's too long.i am feeling it's not fair
why i should waited for a such long time.

any way to retrieve the delayed time??? Is the lawsuit help?

if anybody can help, i am appreciated!

Hi,
That's really an awfully long time. I don't have an answer to your question, but wanted to what's your district office?
Thanks.

Wow that sucks, but you have your Green Card now right?

Listen repeatedly to "Time in a Bottle" by Jim Croche (or the Muppets, whichever version you prefer). ;)

I doubt you can sue them if your green card is approved. You could certainly try, but I'm guessing that it won't help. Sorry about that.
