Case created!!!NVC

Gurus,
How do you know that a case # has been created @ NVC.I called up today and they said it is in the system and will be mailing packet 3 in 4-6 weeks.When is case # created ?

Hi, Please post your Service Center, Category, I-140 approval date, Approval notice receive date etc. My I-140 EB3 got approved from Vermont Service Center on 2/27/02. NVC has not received my case yet. I am very anxious to know what is going on with my case. Tks. Sri.

My case was approved on February 20, 2002, Texas Service Center, and NVC has NOT received my case. Most cases are received by NVC within one to two weeks at most, look at CPTRACKER.com to get an idea and also at these d-boards. Only thing you can do is wait and wait some more. You may want to contact your service center to ensure that they did send the approval cable to the NVC and not directly to the consulate... it\'s unusual but it does happen. In my case, INS said they did send the cable to NVC and said it was now out of their hands, the NVC in turn said they had not received the case and that it was out of their hands... I can only pray now. Hope you guys have better luck.
