Gurus is it strange that my case is being processed at the NBC? My DO is San Francisco, my application was mailed to Phoenix and I am filing based on 5 years as a PR....any thoughts or is that fairly standard?

The NBC is the central processing facility for all non-military N-400s after they have been received at the lockbox. Your NOA will be sent from the NBC as will your fingerprint notice. When the results of your fingerprint check have been completed, NBC will ensure that your A-file is already at, or sent, to the processing DO. They will then send out your interview letter. The entire N-400 process was moved to the NBC and away from the four regional Service Centers to standardize processing and remove Service Center backlogs for the N-400s.
