My AOS is family base, assigning case to an officer after date become current is for EB AOS and i was told my case has been assign to an officer, that means know officer or supervisor has been with my case file for 6months after interview.how long will have to wait after they assign your case to an officer:confused:

The question you are asking is akin to asking why the dog barked at the moon. :( Do you have a case number and address where the case is located? If so, then write a letter and make phone calls daily, until someone respond to you. Involve your Congressman, you don't have to vote for him to gain some assistance from his office. Get off your gluteal muscles and do something, get mad and pound on every door until you are served.

Continue to write letters monthly and send to the USCIS people. If you are bold enough, write to the Secretary of DHS, Michelle Obama, Obama himself. During the Bush years, we have people who wrote to Laura Bush and their cases were quickly resolved. Unless you continue to press them with letters, it will be in the supervisor's desk till 2020..

i saw some old post during 2001 to 2004, that said 4 weeks,my question is not a joke.
I want know who has been in same situation and got approve in the time frame of case being assigned to a supervisor, please share your experience.
