Case approved - stamping qstn

Hi all, My case was filed at CSC and it was approved yesterday. Like everyone else, heard the approved message again and again ;-)

I would like to know if anyone tried to get their passport stamped at Arlington, VA. Do they do another security check or do they stamp my passport rite away? What documents do I need to take with me to the INS office? Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Congratulations

The Arlington office is not consistent in their stamping procedure. Some have been stamped the same day while others were made to wait. More people have been made to wait for the security check (we waited for a month). But that is not in your control so even if they ask you to come back it does not matter (you could request them to do it the same day). Your approval notice will specify the documents that you need to take with you. Generally if an RFE has not been generated all you need is two photographs, your AP ( if you have one) and you EAD with the Approval Notice copy. They never ask for anything that is not on the notice. If you get to the office early you should be done early morning. Good Luck!!
