Hi All,

I checked the AVM yesterday night and My wife, kid amd myself got approved on 5/22.
My details:
EB2, INDIA, ND 03/01 AD 05/22 PD 11/98 VSC FP 4/14 2 EADs(But never used 2nd) EAC-00-109-XXXXX
NO REF
Called up IIO only once to update my address

Mine is one of the very few cases and there are 2 more people I saw
in this board "Shrini100" and "metoo" who are in the same boat as me.

I applied for I-485 in Last week of FEB\'00 and within a month and a half
I was got fired by my consultaing company as they are in a difficult situation holding too many employees on the bench. So I immediatly approched HR department, they are very kind enough and said that they are not going to cancel the current green card process and will let it go. They could help me out for any further assistance. But they didn\'t promised to take me back when I asked for it. But since then I was working to an other company using EAD.

By GOD\'s grace my case was got approved without any hassels.

I moved to an other house in AUG within the same state but different city
and updated the address in JAN\'2001 for INS records by calling IIO. That\'s the only time I called for my case.

Thanks to all of you and your usefull suggesstions.

I will be updating my status soon in the immigration tracker.

Question: What are the documents I need to carry for stamping?
Do I need to take employer letter, W2s, paystud etc?
If I need to carry employer letter, do I need to get it from
current employer or sponcer employer?

Bhanu and others please help me out for these questions.

Congrats. Here are the details given by BJSR to on one of questions for stamping procedures :

" 1. Collect the following :
a. I-94
b. EADs
c. Advance Parole
d. Driver\'s license
e. Original Passport
f. Approval Notice(received by attorney) or Courtesy Copy(I used courtesy copy)
g. Two Immigration Style photos(like the ones used for EAD and AP). The approval letter specicically ask for the latest photos taken in the last one month. I used the photos used for my EAD and they didn\'t ask a question on that.
2. At the INS office they will first ask you for the Passport, Approval Notice and Two Photos. They may or may not ask for the rest of the documents. In my case they didn\'t ask for anything else.
The INS officer fills the form I-551 for you and she confirms your address,name and parents names.
Then they will ask you to sign and finger print the I-551. You will be giving only your right hand index finger \'finger print\'.
3. With the way VSC is going you should expect the GC in about 4-6 weeks.
4. To check the status on your actual card call the same old number 1-802-527-4913 and enter your I-485 EAD number EACXXXXXXXXXX. Check the status after about 3 weeks from the PP stamping. The message you would be looking for is that a card is ordered on 99/99/9999 date. You should get in 1-2 weeks after the message is changed.
Note: I would suggest taking copies of the documents that you are submitting. Also take copies of your passport after stamping and keep them safely ".
