Case Approved After Pending 28 Months

Just want to share it with you all the good news. After 28 months of waiting, my case finally got approved today. Not so excited, but do feel much relieved.

This community has been a great help for me. Just want to say thank you all, and wish you all good luck on getting your approval soon.

Here goes my case info:

RD: 10/01/2001
ND: 11/28/2001
FP1: 03/07/2002
FP2: 08/16/2003
FP3: 02/05/2004 (scheduled date, but confirmed that it's a BCIS mistake)
AD: 02/03/2004
 
2nd FP

Lots of good luck with your GC. One quick question. How did you manage to get 2nd FP? What triggered it. Looking at the approval trend I believe people will get approved only after doing 2nd FP (for those whose 1st one expired). Mine expired in Aug 2003. Filed for 3rd EAD with RD of December 23rd 2003. Please let us know.

I like you being realistic here. You are right, there is no excitement when you get approval after so long. Today morning, I was thinking the same that my approval message (when??) will be just simple (without any excitement).

Congratulations. I am sure you feel so releived now.

This whole immigration business surely s* a great deal and I am wondering when I will get my mind out of that!!!!

May be I should start learing meditation and YOGA!!!
 
Congrats! did you contact any Senator/Congress person for help? I am also in the same boat, no RFE, 3rd FP scheduled, will go and see what they say...
