'Care of' address: URGENT help needed!

I am going out of USA for 1-2 years by applying for re-entry permit as I recently got GC..But the question is:

Can I use my brother's address as "care of address" and also update the address with BCIS using AR-11?

Are there any rules or giudelines for 'care of' address?

there is no concept of

"Care of...."

But you can use your brothers address as a permament Residence in America...
Also remember for Re-entry permit you need to show permanancy in your stay in this counrty

You can definitely use your brother's residence as care of address.
Just try to maintain some transactions here as a proof of maintaing status here. May be, use the same creditcards in India and pay it online. If you want a definite answer, why don't you ask Sheila Murthy on her weekly chat on Monday (or) you can post the question to Rajiv on the FAQ section of immigration.com .
Anyway, i envy your decision. I wish to do what you are doing. But it will be another year before i get my GC. Good Luck to you on your endeavour.
