Card received -- derivative still pending

Wanted to share the joy!

Just received the permanent resident card on Friday (June) 13th. Yeah... not to shabby an accomplishment for a scary day.

The history (primary):
RD 08/03/01
RFE 10/17/02 (employment)
AD 03/28/03
PP stamped 05/07/03
Card date 06/05/03

Unfortunately, I'm not yet free of this daunting process -- spouses I-485 is still pending. Her application is supposedly still attached to mine. BCIS sent a request for 2nd FP, which was done on 05/30. There has been no additional news since.

I'm dying to uncork that Champagne chilling in the fridge. Instead, I've got to chill a bit!!!

You are "free" ! but not your wife.
Even your wifes case is rejected, you still will have your GC.

So ... BREAK the Champagne bottle with a rod :D:D
