Card production ordered

Hello members,

I got an email from CRIS today saying card production ordered on January 2, 2008. Please allow 30 days to deliver the card to you.

I had an approved advance parole and I am travelling on next week, january 7, 2008. Everything planned two months back. Now, what could be my options? Can I still travel on advance parole? I am away for 3 weeks.

Congratulations. Its very likely that you may get card before Jan 7th. I remember getting my EAD and AP in 2-3 days time after day of approval. It may also be similar for GC

Do you mind telling which service center your I-485 go to?
 
You may consider scheduling an INFOPASS appointment (if possible) before next week and asking an immigration officer to give you a I-551 stamp in your passport. I don't know if you can schedule on time but it's worth a try...

I efiled I140 EA to TSC and filed I-485 to TSC.

I was able to get an infopass appointment tomorrow.

Today morning I had this infopass appointment. The immigration officer at the counter said, the service center has not updated the system and hence he cannot stamp the visa on the passport without seeing approval in the system.

I have to leave without having a stamp. He said I should be fine on traveling on advance parole on january 7, 2008.

After reached work, I called national customer service center, and the officer said, the welcome notice mailed today for my I-485 and approval notice mailed for my spouse. And short after few minutes I received those emails also. The officer also told me that, once permanent residency registered, I cannot use parole for travel. In that case I have to postpone my travel.

How long it take to arrive in the mail once these emails arrived?
 
I think it is a good idea to wait until your cards arrive. You do not want to jeopardize your situation. You probably would receive your card by next Friday but should keep another extra week in hand.
 
Finally card received by post today. now, i can freely travel.

Congratulations :) I received the card production email on January 2nd too but haven't received the card as yet. Could you let me know what time you got the email? Cause I got mine at around 4.30 pm so maybe that's why I haven't gotten it as yet..lol I know I need to relax but I can't wait to get the card! Also, what state are you in? Thanks! :)
 
You may get by this week. Just relax. My email arrived at 1;15pm and am at SC.

You will receive it by this week.
