Card Production Ordered for Self. Question on Spouse.

After waiting nearly fives years, I finally got the wonderful news!

4/29/2008 - Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident

4/30/2008 - Current Status: Card production ordered.

I do have a question regarding spouse. My I-485 was submitted in June and USCIS notice day was 7/16/07. I got married in August 07 but by then my case was no longer current. I submitted all the documents for my spouse in Sept 07 but company lawyer said we couldn't append it onto my application until my case is current again. Finally in March 08 it became current, so we sent in my husband's documents.

Question: will my husband be able to use the same receipt date as my application since he's applying as my dependent? Or will he be held to March 2008?

You husband will get the new receipt date. But most often they combine the family cases. so both of you should get approved at the same time

Having said that, looks like you applied just last month and I guess your hubby is yet to do his FP. so in that case, your hubby case will be processed seperatly.
