Adjudication done on RD not PD

Congrats kusho. Enjoy it. I am happy for you.

Sree...I found out from another thread that the adjudication is done based on Receipt Date (RD) and NOT Priority Date (PD). PD is used only to determine if your case is under 'current processing' timeframes and once it is, the RD takes over. Hence it does not matter when your PD is, if your RD is a later date (due to delays in previous stages) it will be processed in the order in which they received it. It is unfair on people with an earlier PD, but atleast this explains a lot in terms of why some cases get approved earlier than others with an earlier PD.

Congrats Kusho! But I do not think that the FP that you did in the morning had anything to do with your approval. Even if you hadn't given your FP, your approval would have come coz i think that it takes atleast a couple of days for the FP results to be sent to TSC/NSC.
Anyways, congrats on your approval!!

No Method to this madness

Neither PD nor RD matters buddy...check your fate lines..that's what matters...believe me no one can theorize the way USCIS operates..they are inscrutable basta**s

I also agree - PD or RD doesn't matter now.. IF your application is old and completes all Checks and ready for adjudication then you are good to get approval with irrespective of PD and RD
