CARD/DOCUMENT PRODUCTION - What to expect.

I am now current to receive my GC (PD Aug 24, 2006, ROW EB3). In the USCIS website my status has been CArd/document production since Jan. 2008. When I contacted USCIS for that message, back in 2009, they said my case was waiting for visa number. I have an EAD valid until NOv. 12, 2012. I changed jobs (similar job) one year ago. Questions: 1) Am I preadjudicated so I may receive my GC earlier? 2) When am I supposed to receive my GC? 3) Should I renew my EAD?
Thank you.

Your PD wasn't current in Jan 2008 (nor the month before/after that), so that "card production" status must be referring to another case like your EAD, or it's a mistake.

File to renew your EAD ASAP. Your green card is probably not going to be approved before the EAD expires in November.

If you are preadjudicated, you can expect the GC in 1 to 2 months after your PD becomes current again.
