How long does it take to get the EAD card once the EAD application is approved? Online message says EAD approved and message sent to the card processing center.

Online message says:

On March 1, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

Does the message gets updated once the card has been mailed?

Yes, in my case, after about 5 days the message changed to "your card is approved and on such and such day the card has been mailed to you. If 14 days have passed and you did not receive the approval letter, please call such and such number". This is not word for word what the message said but something very close to it. I received the card 3 days after this update. Good Luck.

Thanks MGM, I received the email that you mentioned above yesterday and when I checked my mailbox(postbox) last evening, I found my EAD card also. Both happened to me on the same day. I am shocked, surprised and pleased. What a great relief!!
