Card and Address Change

Guys,
I have a question.
After 485 approval, during stamping in PP do they ask you the address where the Card needs to be sent or do they send the card to the address on record?

Reason for this question is, I am planning to move to new apt in same city by end of Sept, but having given 2nd FP (4th Aug, LUD 9th and 13th), I am expecting (hopefully) approval soon.. going by the current trend of approvals.

Please advise based on your experience.

Also does the post office forward these mails from USCIS?

post office forwards all the mails that come to your existing address to your new address only for a limited time provided you fill up the necessary form and submit to them.

you also need to inform USCIS about your address change using the 800 number and submit a AR-11 form to the state dept.

Normally letters from CIS do not get forwarded as they put "Return Service Requested" on envelopes. Some mailmen/women forward them by mistake, but don't count on it.
