Hi there,

Some might already know, but I'm a worrier, and I recently had a car accident that was my fault. I managed to drive into the back of a someone car. No one was hurt, and I wasn't cited or anything by the police. But I'm worrying that the accident might affect my permanent residence status.

I'm kind of worried that if the lady whose car I hit sues me will it affect my permanent resident status in anyway.

you should be fine. the only concern you should have if you have a criminal background or DUI record. So don't sweat it, accidents happen all the times. Even if the other person tries to sue you, it's under civil case not criminal.
