i. Or would there be any issues?
ii. I've been trying to get the appointment at Washington for the last week or so. Am not able to get through. Can I ever get through?

You are not only the person complained about it..!! There are many..!!

You need to try in off peak hours like early in the morning (say 6.00 AM) or late night 8:00 pm onwards..!!
