Can't believe it is over.

I received my plastic card on 10/10/2003. My 485 was approved on June 13th. I had one RFE in the entire process but it was for employment letter which was an easy one since I am still with the same employer. I got my passport stamped on July 16th in Newark, NJ. I came to this country on July, 1999. My GC process was started in December 1999. It took less than 4 years for the entire saga to be over: not bad considering the ever-slowing pace of approval in BCIS.

My heartfelt best wishes for all of you who are still waiting for approval. Good luck!

RFE - Request for Evidence. If there are any missing documents or the USIS wants some additional information or just for the heck of it, they may send you a RFE.
