I am a Physcian currently working in an (MUA)
Under-served area in Washington State since Feb 2000, have already
applied for RIR Labor cert, however because of
financial reasons my employer wants me to move
permanently to another location which is located
in an under-served area in Idaho different State
employer is going to be the same, same job description only a
change in location and STATE Because I am a Cardiologist I didn\'t apply of NIW
My questions are?
1. Can I transfer H1B to that area and how long
would that take in general and how soon can I
start work .
2. Is it possible, difficult?? , would it involve
a new Labour petition.RIR)
3. Can my current Labour Certification be
transfered, I read somewhere on one of the immigration
web sites one can.
4.Is the portability Law applicable to Physcians.
5.Can I work at both sites Both MUA\'s
What would you advise, I am really confused
Thanks in advance

Ask your employer to wait till you can get your GC based on your current LC. The LC will be no good if you change locations and you will have to start all over again.

I would like to thank all of you individually H@yahoo,varsad,padoni and you helmut. I think the best course is stay put. State of Washing is taking forever to review RIR applications.
Thanks once again and Good Luck to all of you
