Hi, my parents finished their finger printing(I-485) and then left for India with valid Advance Parole visas. My mother underwent major surgery and cannot comeback until September 2002.
Meanwhile, INS has called them again for finger printing saying the first round was not OK. We applied for one extension and now another finger printing call has come saying it is the final chance and if they do not appear by April end, they have to start all over again from I-130 stage.
We are planning to appeal for another extension until September 2002 on medical grounds. Any suggestions. Do we have any chance? Thanks, Viswanath
