My Dear friend is Green Card holder and he also has candaina perment residency.his wife is canadian Permenent resident.My friend is going apply for citizenship in next May 2006.so hopyfully he will have citizenship (12 month period) .then he will be able to sponser his wife.She is a doctor and dong her USMLE.For Step 3 she has to come to US to do the paper.My friend has not file the I-130 for her yet.

1) what should be best game plan for him.
2)while his wife applying for visit visa from canda.( for coming to US to give USMLE 3).should she show that her husband is a green card holder living in USA.
3)Plz adv about I-130 should he file now or wait or citizen ship.
4)How can he convert her status after citizenship

There is no practical benefit to filing I-130 before he obtains US citizenship. So best to wait till he is a US citizen.
As far as disclosing her husband's status, she will inevitably be asked about it during any application for US visa and wilfully being untruthful is not recommended.

she is getting the letter from ECFMG( that she is comming to US to get the USMLE(united stated medcial licence EXAM)step 3 done.
1- is there still chances that she will be denied ?.
2-as her husband is GC holder. If her visit visa denied then latter when her husband will file her sponcership after citizenship ?( what will be impact of this visa denail on that case?
