Canceling DV Law???

HI all,

I have heard that there is a bill regarding canceling DV.

1- is this one of the items in the current USA debate over immigrant?

2- in case they have cancel it, will any other way except having work or family in the USA that qualify you to be an immigrant, (I mean putting a set of hard requirements to be eligible for that VISA, like what Canada does).

you should search this forum carefuly. Some time ago there was a thread about the pending immigration bill and diversity lottery. There was an excerpt from the bill posted that talked about DV lottery.

Yes, diversity cancellation is part of the bill that is pending. If it passes it would take affect from october 1, 2006.
