I was wondering if anyone had information about whether US immigration at Miami airport does regular checks for Canadian criminal records for Canadian arrivals or if they even have access to the system (ACUPIES) now that Canadians are pre-checked at Canadian airports...
If they maintain a policy of "always checking" Canadian criminal records in this post 9/11 era, then I won't even bother. But, since the price of the ticket is not too expensive, I would like to take the chance to reunite with my mom who is a snowbird living in Florida... Again, I am residing in Ecuador so I am not subject to the "pre-check" in Canadian airports...
Any advice?
