Have someone applied for canadian visit visa while working on EAD card? What are the documentations required for applying? I have a valid EAD and Advanced Parole.
 
Check with the Canadian Consulate (I assume you'll be going to Detroit) for the basic docs. You also need a proof of legal status.
 
Canadian Visa

I went to CANADA last year in 2003 and they asked me my employment verification letter, bank statement, pay stubs and copy of I-485 notice.

I got visa in 2 weeks. It was easy. Make sure you send all required documents.

I visited canadian consulate website and print the application and required documentation list and send it to them.

They send me all Original documents back with my passport.
