Getting Canadian temp visa is the most easiest part from whole H1 revalidation process. Refer to canadian immigration web site for documents and fees. From what I remember the docs I took were I-797, interview aappoitment letter from US consulate, letter of employment, last few pay stubs, bank statements etc.. Go there in person by 9 am, submitt ur docs and application, no interview or anything, and collect ur pp with visa in afternoon.
