canadian re-enter US

I am a canadian citizen now working in US in H1b visa, I was granted Canadian citizenship when I work in US, so there is no visa stamp on my canadian passport, my wife went back Vancouver airport and have US immigration stamp on her passport for H4(actually no visa attached, only a stamp which states the I-94 number and my H1b exporation date). I heard no visa needed for canadian to enter US, what we do is only show sufficient documents to immigration office when enter US port, is this true?
My question is: if we go to third country(e.g. china), do we need to apply for US visa there, or I need to go back Vancouver airport first to have US Immigration office stamp on my passport before we leave, or just bring all documents to airport(e.g. San Francisco International Airport) when we arrive back US?
Very appreciated for your comments.

need visa stamp

If you commute between US/Canada , dont need a VISA stamp. If you travel from China , they will ask for a VISA stamp.

You dont need a VISA stamp if you have a Canadian passport.

I have canadian passport, do you mean I don\'t need visa stamp no matter entering US from canada or china, just present documents to airport immigration officer when I come back US from china?
