Hello all!!
My questions
1) I have not taken any English Proficiency tests and instead have provided my high school scores (10th, 11th, 12th) grades, my TOEFL score, my US undergrad college Transcripts, College Degree, and a document stating how I trained myself in English for the English Proficiency section of the Canadian PR application. Will the Officers be satisfied with the proof I have provided for the English Proficiency or will they go based on a different scale for the individuals who have not taken any tests? Or is it better for me to take a test in the mean while, since its only been 2 months since my application has reached the Canadian consulate?
2) I also recently got married. How do I add my wife to my filed application such that she does not have to start from the starch? And will adding my wife to my existing application increase my points as well? Or it does not affect the application in terms of points at all?
3) And in addition to my first question. For example, as of now based on the Qualifying assessment tool provided on the Canadian website, I got 73 points, which is above the 67 qualifying points. However, since I haven’t taken any English Proficiency tests and if the officers use a different scale to measure my proficiency (since I provided other documents as stated in question 1) due to which my points are lower then 67, which could lead to my application to be dropped. But if I were to add my wife then would adding her increase my points and suffice of the points I lost.
Your immediate help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
