canadian PR application fees

can anyone tell tell me the fees for canadian PR under skilled worked category.cic.gc.ca says $500 canadian.can i send equivalent USA dollars.Or is there a fixed fees in USA dollars?.

Also,can i take a bank check in favor of CANADA CONSULATE GENERAL?.

Call Bufallo Office, Phone # 716-858-9501, talk to immigration officer, they will tell you exact fees in US$.

US Dollars: Payment in U.S. dollars must be drawn on a bank located in the United States

Right of Permanent Residence Fee US$
Each applicant 22 years of age or older $635
For Family Class applicants, the processing fees and the Right of Permanent Residence Fees must be paid by the sponsor to the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. US funds are not accepted at CPC Mississauga
Processing Fees
Permanent Resident US$
Principal Applicant - Independent $360
Spouse $360
Each Dependent 22 years or older $360
Each Dependent under 22 years $100
Principal Applicant-Business $685

just see the current exchange rate and send the fees. There is no fixed rate in US dollors. Its best to get the exact Canadian fees from official canada gov site http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.html
Its best to send few dollors extra, they will return the exess amount. In may case they returned extra $25 when they sent me the file no.
If you sent less amount they will return your application.
