To meet Canadian citizenship eligibility requirements you need to be resident in canada for 3 years. To meet US green card eligibility requirements you need be a resident of US and not be outside US for more than 2 years (if you have a reentry permit/returning residents visa, 1 year if you don't). You can't fulfill both these requirements and will have to give up one or the other.
