Canadian citizen requiring H1 stamping

Just wondering if Canadian citizens require H1 Visa stamping at the consulate or POE (airport/ border). I just wanted to confirm as I read at other posts, it's at the POE.

My second question is regarding questions asked at the POE. Any canadian citizen who went through this process...Can you please let me know what kind of questions are asked at the POE?

Any particular POE that is easier to pass through than others?
 
another quick question

is it possible for first time applicant to get approval from USCIS, but later at the POE, your H1 (797) can be denied? Has this ever happened to any Canadian citizen or someone who went to Canada for stamping.
