I have a friend who is using Advance Porale to commute back to US. However, if the US gives him stamp and is there any problem for him since his newest I-94 and AP will have stamps of entrance. And US will ask him to give up the canada residence? He is not canada citizen

The USCIS cannot ask him to give up his Canadian landed immigrant status. It is up to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to realize that he has been out of Canada long enough to have abandoned his landed immigrant status. The USCIS has no juristiction in this matter.
