i made a trip to canada in 2001. I have only 1 stamp from canada immigration. Even on that stamp, the date is not clear.

I think roughly the trip was about 7 days. Should i just take a rough guess on duration of the trip?
I have lost my boarding tickets as well.

Be conservative

My suggestion would be to be conservative in estimation. But please exhaust all possibilities such as hotel itin., freinds recollection, etc.

Generally, this is not too much a problem unless you were out many days in the 5 years.

This is absolutely a non-issue unless you were out of the US for close to 2.5 years during the 5 years residency.

otherwise whether it's 7 days or 70 days makes no difference. JUst estimate it and I am sure at the interview it won't matter.

It becomes an issue when people spend months out of the US. then the interviewer wants to make sure it wasn't more than 6 months.

guys, THanks for the help.

I am going crazy collecting all the documents. By mistake today due to all the tension, I went into the ladies restroom. Damn :D
