Canada temporary worker visiting USA

Hello,

I was in USA on H1B till March 2006 and am currently in Canada on Work Permit valid till March 2007. I’d like to visit some of my friends in USA for about a week.

My employer who has offices in USA and in Canada is planning to move me back to USA after March 2007, my question is if I travel to USA on B2 will the time I spend in USA be counted in the 365 day rule outside USA?

What are my chances of getting B2 VISA? :rolleyes:

- No..It will be counted as the time spent inside the USA. You have to be OUT for 365 days - the visa status does not matter.

What are my chances of getting B2 VISA?

- 50/50 - (I know a rejection case)..
