Please help - Canada PR and GC process - passport request

Hi,

My Canada PR interview was in Nov 2003. Now on 05/26/04 LA Canada Consulate has requested to send the passport for stamping.

But the issue now is June '04 beginning I-485 case was transferred to Sanjose office. My friends are telling that within a month or so I might get a letter for GC interview.

I am confused if I need to send my passport for Canada PR or not because of following reasons:

1. I do not know if I send when I will get back the passport from the cAnada Counsulate. What if INS schedules an inteview before I get back my passport.
2. If I get the stamping for Canada PR will it affect my GC during the interview.
3. Can I have both Canada PR and Green card at the same time.

I am confused. Should I send my passport to LA Canadian consulate?

Please help me.

I am not sure if it is possible to go in person to Canadian consulate and get is stamped. My other concern is will I be questioned about my Canada PR in my GC interview.

Please advise me.
