canada PR...advice

hi..

i stayed with PR status in canada for 2years..and left to US ..now am in US for 5years...can i enter in canada with my old PR status....Previous PR visa is on Paper (paper visa)...i heard now
they have som PR card..,..so can i go to canda with my previous visa????...

any advice/suggestions ...thanks in advance...
